How we collect and check this data
What we list
Translation offices, visa and legalization agents, and notarial services attorneys that offer document translation in Thailand, starting with Bangkok and Nonthaburi.
We list businesses, not individual freelancers. Freelancers appear only if they add themselves.
Where each fact comes from
Name, address, hours and Google rating come from the business's Google Maps listing.
Languages, services, prices and turnaround come from the provider's own website. We keep a copy of the page and the exact sentence each fact is based on, and link to it.
Embassy-list entries come from lists published by embassies, such as the UK Foreign Office and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok. We show the date of each list.
Review themes count how many recent Google reviews mention speed, accuracy, price, communication or MFA and embassy work. We do not republish review text.
Distances to the MFA legalization counters and years in business are calculated by us.
What the labels mean
Verified: checked by our team, or found on an official list.
From the provider's website: taken from the provider's own site and not yet checked by us.
Self-reported: a credential the provider claims that we have not confirmed with the issuing body.
How providers are ordered
For now, by Google rating weighted by number of reviews. A fuller ranking that weighs verified credentials, review quality, range of services, price transparency and response time will replace it once enough facts are verified.
Paid placements, when we offer them, will always be labelled Featured and will never change a provider's position in the ranking.
Corrections and removal
If you run a listed business and something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it. You can also ask us to remove your listing.
